The name

Why mad?

Because M.A.D. stands for Make A Difference. Here's the difference, line by line.

  1. Make a difference one can at a time.

Big changes start small. Start with the drink in your hand.

  2. Make a difference beyond zero sugar.

Most diet sodas take the sugar out and put nothing back. We add 5 g fibre.

  3. Make a difference beyond fibre.

Most prebiotic sodas stop at fibre. We add 1.5 billion CFU probiotics.

  4. Make a difference for your gut.

Fibre feeds your good gut bacteria. Probiotics add more of them.

  5. Make a difference you can taste.

Mint Mojito and Kokum Citrus Spice. Zero sugar, full flavour.

Starting with what you drink.

Launch flavours

M.A.D.ly delicious Kokum · Citrus · Black salt · Jeera

Fibre + probiotics

Fibre feeds your gut bacteria. Probiotics add more good ones.

Most prebiotic sodas stop at fibre. M.A.D. Gut gives you both in every 250 ml can.

Fibre 5 g

Food for the bacteria already there

Dietary fibre is the part of plant food your own digestive enzymes can't break down. It passes through the stomach and small intestine largely intact and reaches your large intestine.2 There, gut bacteria ferment many soluble fibres, which is why fibre is often called food for your gut. How much gets fermented depends on the type of fibre.3

Probiotics 1.5 billion CFU

Live, beneficial cultures in every can

Probiotics are live microorganisms that, taken in adequate amounts, offer a health benefit.1 They add to the good bacteria in your gut.

Lab study

They compete with harmful bacteria

Commercial probiotic strains reduced how well disease-causing bacteria could attach to human intestinal mucus.4

Lab study

They make the gut less welcoming to harmful bacteria

Probiotic lactobacilli killed Salmonella by lowering pH, producing lactic acid and releasing other antibacterial compounds.5

Human study

They help protect the gut lining

In healthy volunteers, a probiotic strain increased the proteins that seal the gaps between gut-lining cells.6

These studies used specific probiotic strains, not M.A.D. Gut itself. Probiotic effects depend on the strain and the amount consumed, and research is ongoing. M.A.D. Gut is a refreshing drink, not a medicine, and is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.

Our story

India shouldn't just drink the world's functional sodas. It should make its own.

M.A.D. started as Gutli, a gut-health drink. As the idea grew, the name got too small for it. We wanted a brand that could stand for more than one function, and for choosing better every day.

People only benefit from what they actually enjoy. So we built M.A.D. taste first, with Indian flavours and function you can read on the can.

"It works, but it feels more like medicine than something I enjoy."

What we heard

"The sachet helps, but I don't look forward to taking it."

What we heard

"Finally, a gut-health drink I actually open because I want it."
